2 chihuahua babiesI briefly mentioned before that Cassidy had an internship. Well , at her school they have a week off and they have to find a "job" in the community. If they can't find one, the school will place them somewhere. It's a great program for the kids to learn responsibility and what is like to have a real job. Our neighbor helped us out and got Cass a "job" at a local pet store. Cass loved it. She cleaned and took care of the little puppies. She did such a great job the owners said she could come back a couple of times a week to help out if she wants. We haven't been in this school long, only since Jan., but it is amazing. It's a Montessori school and the kids are taught responsibility, Independence, a big sense of community, and how to be an all around good person.

It's such a great experience for Cassidy...I think it is a great program. Also, I'm sure it will be a source of many discussions on why she can't have the $2,000 puppy she wants at the pet shop!!!
