SEATBELT SIGN 101O.K. You're on a plane. Ding. The seat belt sign comes on. What does this mean to you? What? Get up and walk around, go to the bathroom, ask for water ? If you anyone of these was your answer then you agree with about 75% of the flying public. I don't get it people. SIT DOWN-FASTEN SEATBELT. It seems that people think that they can get up "I'll be quick."; they say. You only had 3 hours to get up ; definitely not enough time to go to the bathroom. Or could you be thinking "that's for everyone that doesn't know how to balance in the bathroom." Or, - "I'm not scared of a little turbulence." Well , take it from me people, it can happen when you least expect it-SEVERE turbulence. The seatbelt sign came on and about 15 seconds later I hit the ceiling 3 times -out cold. Babies were flying(which is another observation I will get to later), luggage was flying and everything that wasn't strapped in was hovering in the air. I was out of work 1 year and 9 months with injuries to my back and neck. So when that seat belt sign comes on , What will YOU do? and don't say ring your call light for a coke.
