This is how we spent part of our Presidents day. While you people further up north were sitting by the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate, we were riding bikes on the beach boardwalk with our friends the Shashaty's and Daniella's friend Kaitlyn. After the bike ride the kids went for a quick swim in the ocean and we followed it up with some ice cream. You gotta love South Florida's winters.

Dinner after the movie at Cheesecake Factory. Is that Javan Shashaty, Nick Mashburn, and Josh Allison I see that went to the Hannah Montana movie?

We went to see the Hannah Montana movie last night. It was a good movie and the girls loved seeing the Jonas Bros. make an appearance. 14 people from church. 11 kids, 3 adults. The older boys (i won't name anyone, but see photo above) weren't very excited to say the least and sat away from the rest of us and hid. After the movie we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and finished off with a trip to Gameworks. Another fun night ! Thank you Kathy Shashaty for another great night with the kids.

Happy belated Valentines Day! How was everyone's Valentines Day? I worked, but was home that night. My kids both had dances to go to. Daniella went to the Shashaty's that night for a dance party. Cassidy went to a dance Friday night at school. That is a typical Valentines day for me. Did anyone do anything special? Let me hear from you if you did.

I'm Back

Hi Everyone, Sorry i've been gone so long. Alot has happened since my last post. Christmas was great; both my parents came to stay with me. My mom stayed for a month and my dad stayed just for a couple of days . Our church had Christmas Express where people brought toys to give to families that needed help at Christmas time. The great thing was the church set up a "store" and brought the moms in (some dads) and let them shop for their kids. Then they got to take the presents home ,wrapped and everything , and put them under the tree so they could be the gift giver instead of the church. My girls decided to use the money they had been saving and they also raised more money by selling coffee and doughnuts at my neighborhood garage sale and bought gifts for the kids in need. I'm soo proud of them.
